User Review:
“I bought this pre-amp to combine with an RCA Digital Outdoor Antenna. The outdoor antenna works okay by itself, but we were about 40 miles from the stations I was trying to receive and reception was hit or miss at times.
Adding this to the antenna greatly improved reception. All stations now show solid signal instead of the so-so signal I was getting before.
The installation is simple: Attach the pre-amp to the antenna pole with supplied hardware. Wire the lead from the antenna to the VHF/UHF combined input (you can also use this with separate VHF and UHF antennas if you would like). Then run a wire from the output/power port into the house. In the house, you need to attach the power inserter on the coax line to power the pre-amp. From their, you can plug the coax into the TV.
The pre-amp has a built in FM trap to reduce interference. This can be shut off if you choose, by default it’s set to on.”
